Generic Starbucks photo, but I have had my fair share of these caffine filled little lovelies this week... They're just too good! A latte and a chat with my best friend was definitely one of the highlights of the week. And there is nothing better than popping over the road to grab a coffee shaped pick me up whilst on my lunch break.
Walking with Friends
Going on walks with my best friends is my favourite thing to do. Discovering new places and sharing your favourite spots while chatting about whatever might be getting you down is the best way to release negativity.

I am fully aware that Miss Swift may not be everyones cup of tea, however this song captures a particular feeling perfectly. Go and give it a listen, I promise you'll be impressed.
Gold - Spandau Ballet
Some of you may think this is a slightly odd song choice, let me explain myself. Little under two months ago I lost a close family member incredibly unexpectedly. This was his favourite song and among his many tributes lay many videos of him belting this song out on karaoke during his 18-30 club rep days. Now as you can imagine I had heard this song plenty of times before yet I had never made much effort to understand the lyrics. Since he passed away I have tried to listen to this song once a day and I have finally begun to to get my head around the lyrics, it is a beautifully positive song, just like Peter.
She's Mine - Brett Dennen
THIS SONG. If you are looking for something to cheer you up this is it, Brett Dennen's voice is beautiful and this song is the loveliest thing ever... yes I gave up with my vocabulary there.
